Projects & Talks
I have done a series of different talks, seminars as well as coordinated a series of projects and events.
I am passionate about communicating complex phenomena to diverse audiences, and I love to bring people together through cultural events.

KØN museum
Each year for March 8th, International Women’s Day, The Gender Museum\KØN Museum invites local organisations and speakers to contribute to a day of workshops, talks and debates.
Every year is a different theme and last year was “Feminism, Peace and Future”.
Under this main theme I gave a talk on the connections between climate change and colonialism.
Raise queeer futures
International Women’s day 2021
Social Juicestice x Café Sappho
Raise Queer Futures was an event hosted during Covid19 restrictions in Denmark, and therefore we had to get creative with celebrating March 8th.
Different organisations participated in a so-called “treasure hunt”. Participants were given maps of Aarhus City and could walk to different spots for activities.
My organisation, Social Juicestice, hosted one of these spots, which we called Raise Queer Futures.
Participants were invited to write down what they hoped for a more queer future, and hang them on a lemon tree.
I was the head-organizer for the event and the concept. I also did the graphics for this event.

International Women’s Day 2022
Social Juicestice x KØN Museum
For International Women’s Day 2022 I hosted a workshop at The Gender Museum with my organisation Social Juicestice, an organisation that work to give platforms to queer voices.
Building on the idea that there is power in public presence of radical statements, we arranged a rock-painting workshop, drawing activistic statements on stones and leaving them all around the city of Aarhus, Denmark.
Talk
“Free to be femme: Gender expectations and the history of Colonial Misogyny”
International Women’s Day 2023
For International Women’s Day 2023 the theme at The Gender Museum was “Freedom”. Under this theme I hosted a seminar about the freedom to express your gender and perspectives on femmephobia.
