Social Graphic for Global Kitchen: Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke / ActionAid Denmark

This social media graphic serves as a visual touchpoint for the Global Kitchen initiative, a project grounded in food justice, cultural exchange, and global solidarity. The design pairs minimalist globe iconography with clean, contemporary typography to signal global connection and shared responsibility.

The earthy, soil-inspired color palette was chosen intentionally to evoke groundedness, sustainability, and the nourishment of communities from the ground up, values that mirror Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke's core mission of empowering marginalized voices to claim their rights, build democratic resilience, and fight systemic injustice. The overall aesthetic builds on the organization's commitment to grassroots activism, youth and gender minorities' empowerment, and the pursuit of a just and sustainable world.

Poster Design for Talk: Keeping a Home – Femininity, Consumerism and Labor

I designed the full composition and hand-drew the illustration for this poster, created to promote a talk on the intersections of gender, capitalism, and domestic work. The visual centers a femme-presenting figure balancing oversized grocery bags, highlighting the often invisible emotional and physical labor involved in "keeping a home."

Blending visual cues from consumer culture and care work, the piece critiques the conflicting demands placed on femininity — to consume, to provide, and to perform. The bold color palette, graphic layout, and satirical B.I.G. Spender slogan work together to spark reflection on how labor, value, consumerism, and identity intersect in everyday life.
